To The Faithless Winter
by Peter S. Quinn - April 11, 1999
To the faithless winter and faithless heart,
a few inspired words, I would like to say:
Unfolding summer shall soon again start,
there're just few weeks to beginnings of May.
When moments of birth and of sweetish fragrance,
around refreshes in expanding season.
A growing, coming in such smooth elegance,
as life all is, so hidden from a reason.
What was once gone, is still all alive, here
in the circling tides, that's for ever more.
For what lies hidden, is not dead from earth.
Everything afresh, shall once more reappear
and new colours and shades, shall again explore
the primary pleasures, in life and birth.
